Time! Focus! Creativity! & fun with Learning!

We have reshuffled and specialised the primary school week to maximise the quality and productivity of teachers and children based on current classroom release time (CRT) requirements.

Classroom teachers will have 4 days in class with the 5th day being grouped as a CRT day and delivered externally by specialist teachers.

Your school chooses how to integrate the 5th day with STEM, Music, Art, Te Ao Maori, Nature Education, nature2classroom. Whatever aligns with your curriculum needs !

“Wellbeing4learning looks to address several challenges faced by Aotearoa/New Zealand primary schools.

Teachers will have dedicated time for planning, assessment, professional development, and learning, while children will experience a fifth day of learning designed to invigorate their holistic wellbeing.

The recruitment and retention of quality teachers is essential to student success. By providing structured time for teachers to plan, assess, and engage in professional growth, we can support their wellbeing and effectiveness in the classroom. This approach not only enhances teaching and learning but also makes the profession more sustainable and appealing, ensuring our tamariki benefit from highly skilled and motivated educators”
